Lanai's Garden of the Gods

Lanai's Garden of the Gods has little to do with plants, and is a sacred site to the native Hawaiians. The Garden is a windswept plateau of boulders of all shapes, with a stunning view of maui and molokai in the distance. Other people from a different part of the world compare this area to the Badlands. A good time to go is during the early morning hours, when the light cast stark shadows against the boulders and pinnacles.

This is rough terrain, and should be attempted only with a four wheel drive vehicle.
