- The Challenge At Manele (6:30 am to sunset
daily) golf course was designed by the Golden
Bear, Jack Nicklaus. The challenge was built
on several hundred acres of natural lava outcroppings
within the natural Kiawe and Ilima trees.
The Challenge At Manele golf course Hole 9
is a Par 4 until 1st April 2003.
- Executive putting course is an 18 hole course
with sand traps and water hazzards.

I had a garden view room at this hotel. Of the
four places I stayed during this trip, this
was the largest room. The gardens were fantastic
and the view was incredible - and this was the
garden view! Prices for food in hotel high as
usual, but we ate all of our meals in Lanai
City (tiny town) where hamburgers were $2 and
no meal costs more then $8. Expensive, but memorable
and I recommend this hotel." |
